The MET is situated near the intersection of Midland Avenue and East Third Street in Lexington’s East End neighborhood.

It involved the construction of a new 3-story building, a 102-space surface parking lot, and an addition to the existing building on the property. The primary objective was to introduce new retail outlets, a grocery store, office space, and affordable housing to the neighborhood, while also integrating with LFUCG’s Town Branch Commons project and generating employment opportunities. The project seamlessly integrates with LFUCG’s Town Branch Commons initiative, fostering economic growth and creating job opportunities for the local community.

Throughout the process, EHI provided valuable expertise as a subconsultant, overseeing the design of utility plans, erosion control strategies, and necessary permits.
